Introductory Seminars to Psychoanalysis 2009-2010

1 January 2009 @ 08:00 - 31 December 2010 @ 17:00

An Introduction to Psychoanalysis Seminars organized by our association are open to psychiatrists and psychiatric assistants, psychologists, psychological counselors, psychology undergraduate and graduate students, who are interested in studying primary psychoanalysis texts, and integrating the psychoanalytical approach to their own individual or institutional practice.

The principal objective of these seminars is to study the emergence of psychoanalytical concepts directly through the reading of psychoanalytic texts. However, psychoanalytic concepts do not exist on their own, independent of practice. To facilitate the observation of the application of concepts in practice and how they materialize in cases, the seminars will be complemented with case studies.

Introducing a psychoanalytical approach to psychiatric consultations, psychological counseling, and psychoanalytic psychotherapy initiatives is another objective of the program.

Seminars will take place from October 2009 to May 2010 each Monday between 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Venue: Psike İstanbul
Süleyman Nazif Sokak, Park Apt. No: 5/12 4th Floor
