The second year of Psike Istanbul Cinema Evenings was organized around the theme of “Loss and Mourning.” The monthly sessions, held on Wednesdays, focused on films considered modern mythic phenomena, and the theme of loss and mourning were traced through these movies; the various dimensions of loss were approached from a psychoanalytic angle in the framework of the encounter between the subjectivities of the film and the spectator.
