This conference will explore discussions around irrationality and insanity\/madness. Theoretically tracing D.W. Winnicott who emphasizes the distinctions between these concepts, Chris Joannidis will strive to depict how this approach can be applied to clinical practice.
\nChris Joannidis was born in Istanbul. Upon graduating from Robert College High School in Istanbul, he completed his medicine, psychiatry and psychoanalysis training in the USA, Greece and England. He currently works as a training analyst in Athens. Joannidis is a member of British Psychoanalytical Society, Hellenic Psychoanalytical Society, Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists and Group Analytic Society (London).<\/p>\n
